When and where is the wedding taking place?

The ceremony and reception will be held on Saturday April 25th at 5pm with a cocktail hour and reception to follow at Serene Ranch 5601 Gold Hill Rd, Placerville, CA 95667.

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes — the dress code is formal, semi-formal or cocktail attire.

Can I bring a guest or plus-one?

Answer

Please check your invitation. If a guest is included, their name or "plus one" will appear on your invite.

Where is the wedding registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. In lieu of traditional wedding gifts, we would be honored if you chose to support two organizations that are especially meaningful to us: The Palm House – A sober living facility right here in Sacramento, helping people recover from substance and alcohol addiction. An organization that was founded by a close friend of Dana, the bride. We will have a donation jar at the wedding. The Peace Core – Jordan, the groom, spent two and a half years in Costa Rica serving the peace core and helping the local communities building playgrounds, schools and other structures. https://www.peacecorps.gov/donate/country-funds/costa-rica-country-fund-515-cfd/ We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us in supporting these causes.

How far is the venue from Folsom, CA?

Answer

The venue is about a 35-minute drive to East Bidwell Street in Folsom. That is why we recommend you stay somewhere local to the venue if you are traveling from out of town. See our "travel" page for Airbnb and VRBO recommendations.

Will parking be available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, parking is available on-site. Please, if you are planning to consume alcohol, schedule an UBER ahead of time due to the remote location of the venue.

Are kids invited?

Adults only unless the invitation says otherwise.

What should I expect at the reception?

Answer

There will be dinner, drinks, mocktails, a band, dancing, games and plenty of fun!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony — please keep phones away until after the “I do’s.”

Yes! Please note any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP so we can accommodate you.
