This love story is about God's Grace, Perseverance and His Timing. Jonathon noticed he had quite a few mutual friends with Dana and decided to reach out to her. He contacted her for a date multiple times for about 5 months. Dana kept declining this invite stating it wasn't the right timing for her. (but don't we know God's timing is the best timing!) Jonathon continued to be persistent and kept reaching out every so many months even through all of that, offering a date every so often. Showing grace and pursuing her with the purest heart. November of 2021 he decided to try one more time for this date, and she said yes! After picking her up they both quickly realized that they had lots in common and just enjoyed each others company so much that they went on steady dates for almost 5 months! Finally, Jonathon officially asked Dana to be his girlfriend and started to attend more outings together and including Jamison more frequently. Dana quickly realized that she was the lucky one in this relationship and was so glad that Jonathon stayed persistent. This was just the beginning of their beautiful love story.

Jonathon told Dana to have her bags packed and a nice dress because they were going to Louisiana, back to her hometown, for a weekend getaway. What she didn't know is he had this entire weekend planned out to surprise her. On Saturday they had a candlelit dinner at her fav restaurant located on a rooftop in Baton Rouge. He asked her to marry him just as the sun was setting in the background! She replied " yes! its about time!!" Once they got back from dinner Jamison also gave Dana a ring she can wear at her job so she doesn't mess up her beautiful diamond. So we can say Jonathon really thought of everything!
