Dana and Shynelle have been friends for over 2 decades but their close friendship started on the corner of Hazel McCleary Drive and Bishopstoke Way in Oakville while waiting for the bus to STA. Over their highschool years the duo had multiple classes together where they were frequently seen laughing over inside jokes (Dijonay and Sticky, cicadas), discussing life after school but also working hard! Although they went to different universities the friendship stayed strong through university and during reading weeks and summers the good times and laughs would continue as if no time had passed. Following university, Dana and Shynelle found themselves in the same line of work (and for a short while even worked at the same company - thanks to Dana) and bonded over the “joys” of insurance and adulting! Shynelle wishes Dana and Jason lots of love, happiness and positive vibes and looks forward to being part of their journey over the next 2 decades and beyond!

Remember MSN and BBM? That was basically the birth of Jason and Crystal's friendship. They would stay up til 6am chatting about all things around life, relationships, and basically how to survive the harsh world as angsty kids. Nothing has changed in the 23 years of knowing each other though they're happy to say that they now at least have a healthy 10PM sleeping schedule.

Jason met Jason on the first day of eighth grade science class. They had no choice but to commit to becoming lifelong friends as they would go on to share much of the same school schedule over the next five years. Jason’s fondest memories of their friendship include goofing off in the back of the room in a class filled with overachievers, bonding through weekly late night all you can eat sushi dinners that left everyone too close to puking, and proving that managing a professional sports team is easier than it looks by spending entire afternoons simulating NBA/NHL fantasy draft seasons.

Dana and Eliza started their friendship in grade 10, and for the next two years they had every single class together. Teachers often got them mixed up, Eliza even sometimes got Dana’s marked assignments by mistake. This didn’t really matter since they did most group projects together. From doing data assignments together to seeing Dana pick out her wedding dress, it has and continues to be a fun ride for the two. Eliza wishes Dana and Jason happiness, laughter and endless love as they take on this new group project called life. I’m sure it’s an easy 100%.

Jonathan met his bestie Jason in high school. He thought he “found the Huang”, but that all changed when someone named Dana showed up . She ended up “finding the Huang” as well. Jonathan was TOTALLY not jealous at all. He ABSOLUTELY did not think his friend was being taken from him at all . . . Not even once. Inevitably his friend was taken from him. Then Jonathan learned something called sharing and ended up with two besties! Jonathan is looking forward to spending the rest of his life with Jason and Dana (in the same household of course)! :)

Thomas is Jason's younger cousin and has known Jason since their first encounter at BC Children's Hospital. Since then, together they've bonded over grunting at each other to act as communication when Thomas couldn't yet speak English, wrestling as kids on Uncle Ming's bed, family events, sleepovers, vacations, games, sports and more recently living together for a short time when Thomas first moved to Toronto.

Jason and Yong first met in high school in the eighth grade homeroom, and quickly became friends. For the next 15 years, Jason and Yong bonded over their love of Pizza Pizza, their tragic fandom of the Vancouver Canucks, and their many hours together playing NHL on PlayStation (although not so much since Jason met Dana…) Yong is very excited to continue making more memories on Jason’s and Dana’s big day!

Dana and May first met in high school and through all the codenames and serious FBI work, their friendship blossomed. Despite going to rival universities (Western and Queens), Dana and May remained friends and even found home in each other whenever they were visiting home. May wishes the happy couple many blessings, good health, and endless laughs and can't wait to witness them through another chapter in building their beautiful life together!

Coming in at 5'9 200lbs, Patrick Louie probably has known Jason the longest out of the wedding party. With cannons of arms, Patrick and Jason were a known duo in the Burnaby Minor Baseball Association as well as the Coquitlam Dodgeball League. Patrick and Jason are notorious for being the loudest two at any outing, reaching decibels only thought obtainable with jet engines. Neither of the two will ever forget the capital city of Latvia.

This man is actually not suppose to be at the wedding but we decided this would be a perfect place to warn people. He is a well known wedding crasher and will try to tickle you if you make eye contact with him for too long. He is also very adept at multiple types of bird calls so don’t be alarmed if he starts making bird noises.

Paul Wong loves to connect with people everyday. Whether it’s selling real estate, or singing a birthday song to friends, he truly believes in creating joy. Dana and Jason’s wedding will be the 24th wedding he will help emcee —- and be the most joyful one yet!

This cute and adorable 3 year old LOVES Yan Yans, Pocky Sticks, and Kinder Surprises (but only the surprise part). She has no problem giving her Tita Dana high fives & fist bumps, but Tito Jason still has to bribe her with food (we think she might have a crush on him). Although it's possible Aiyana might rise to the occasion and perform her assigned duties with grace and distinction, it's equally likely that she may run off scared and shy at the sight of Jason at the end of the aisle!
