Horseback Riding

Horseback Riding

There is no better way to explore Jackson Hole than on Horseback! For trail rides, check out Mill Iron Ranch, Willow Creek Horseback Rides, Spring Creek Western Riding, and Teton Village Trail Rides. Options typically include full day, half day, or 2 hour rides.

Fly Fishing

Fly Fishing

Book a full-day, guided float trip or rent gear for an afternoon to fish. Guided fishing trips can take you out to explore the Snake River, the Green and New Fork Rivers, or any of the many streams and lakes in the Yellowstone Park. Book and/or rent from Snake River Angler or through your hotel.

Rafting

Rafting

Cruise down Snake River via raft — either go on a guided whitewater rafting trip or grab some beer and leisurely float (sans guide). To rent a raft and/or schedule a tour, go to any rafting spot in town or check out JHWW, Dave Hansen Whitewater, Sands or Lewis & Clark River Expedition

Hiking

Hiking

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK: Grand Teton offers incredible hiking opportunities, and with over 250 miles of trails to choose from, there are options ranging from short walks to backcountry excursions. Stop at a visitor center to talk to a ranger about the best trail options for you and the latest trail conditions. YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK: Yellowstone National Park is one of America's premier wilderness areas. The park encompasses more than 2.2 million acres, has more than 900 miles (1,449 km) of hiking trails, and is primarily managed as wilderness. Day hiking does not require a permit. PHELPS LAKE: Scenic and easy, this “hike” is more of a walk. A few miles in, there’s a boulder from which you can jump 30 feet and swim! JENNY LAKE: Moderate in intensity, this trail gives you options — either hike it roundtrip (~7.5 miles) or halfway, then take a boat back to the starting point.
