Semi-Formal Garden Party
Attire We encourage nature-inspired attire to complement our surroundings. Ladies, please wear knee-length or midi flowy dresses in soft pastels or botanical prints; block heels or wedges are highly recommended for navigating the natural paths. Gentlemen, light-colored linen or breathable suits with dress shoes are ideal - but any type of business casual dress is totally fine. Please avoid overly dark colors, sneakers, or heavy boots. Arrival & Transport Parking at the Garden is extremely limited. We will arrange a shuttle to and from the Oakland reception venue. Guests are also welcome to take a ride-share early to enjoy complimentary admission to the Garden’s diverse plant collection prior to the ceremony. Venue & Conservation Our ceremony will take place beneath the Redwoods. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap as it can be cool under the canopy. To protect this delicate ecosystem, please stay on designated paths and keep any food and beverages outside the Redwood Grove.

A cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres will be followed by dinner at 6pm and a late-night snack at 10pm. There will be games for kids, open bar for adults, and dancing. More details to come. Can't wait to see you and celebrate! Transportation & Parking Bloc 15 is centrally located with multiple travel options. A secured public parking lot is available directly across the street for those driving. For guests using public transit, the Amtrak station is nearby. The ceremony shuttle will also be stationed here, serving as a central pick-up and drop-off point for your convenience.
