General Mitchell International Airport

The closest major airport to Lake Lawn Resort is General Mitchell International Airport located in Milwaukee, WI. It is about a 50 minute drive to Delavan, WI via I-43. Best option is to rent a car or take an uber.

Flight

Chicago O'Hare International Airport

Flying into Chicago O'Hare may be a cheaper option, as it is a much bigger airport. It is about 1.5 hours from Delavan, WI and the best way to get to the wedding may be to hitch a ride with a friend coming from Chicago as well or to rent a car. If anyone is struggling to find transportation, we are happy to help coordinate a carpool option depending on when flights get in.

Hotel

Lake Lawn Resort

This is where we will be having all of our wedding events, a beautiful setting overlooking Delevan Lake! There is a 2-night minimum for anyone staying at the resort. FYI, all other area hotels also have a 2 night minimum. We have a block of rooms under the name Trotta/Garcia Wedding. Please call the hotel to book by Tuesday, June 7, 2022 if interested, or the remaining rooms in the block will be released to other guests.

Travel Note

Driving

From Chicago: -Take is I-90/1-94 West to WI-50 West. You can continue on this route, which will take you through downtown Lake Geneva for a more scenic drive. -You can bypass the tourist traffic of Lake Geneva by taking WI-50 to WI-120 / US-12 West and then to I-43 towards Beloit. You will get off at Exit 21 towards WI-50 Delavan. From NW Chicago Suburbs: -Take I-90 W to IL-23 to WI-67 to County Rd F to WI-50. From SW Chicago Suburbs: -Take I-355 N towards the NW Suburbs and then follow the "From NW Chicago Suburbs" directions. -Another option if you're close to I-294 is to follow that until it turns into I-94 in WI and then follow the "From Chicago" directions.
