Emerson Resort & Spa

The Emerson Resort & Spa has two choices for accommodations: the Lodge and the Inn. The Lodge is more rustic and closer to the wedding festivities. The Inn is a short walk to the wedding site and has less wood and antlers. We have a block of rooms at the Lodge, available first come, first served. House Or Rental

Airbnb or VRBO

There are tons of great places in the region to rent a house or cabin for the weekend or a night. Mount Tremper or nearby Phoenicia are convenient to the site. If you want to venture farther, historic Woodstock is only 20 minutes by car. Note: there are no taxis or Uber/Lyft in the region.

Travel Note

Camping

There are a million campgrounds in the area. We recommend Woodland Valley. This is our home away from home. The best site is #10 if you can get it.

Flight

Flights

If you are flying, you can come through any of the major NYC airports (JFK, LGA, EWR) or Albany International. The Catskills are about a two hour drive from NYC and about an hour fifteen from Albany.

Travel Note

Bus

Trailways offers several buses daily from NYC to Phoenicia, just five minutes drive from the venue. If arranged in advanced, the Emerson can send a shuttle to pick you up at the bus. There are no taxis or Uber/Lyft in the region.

Rental Car

Driving

The resort is directly off of NY-28. Be sure to download directions as you may lose cellular service the last five miles from the venue.
