Electronic wedding invitations with RSVP details will be emailed in late July 2021.
Cocktail-attire: a nice dress, dress shirt, dress slacks, any dress clothes you feel comfortable in. Note on shoes: Spillian has some grassy/mulchy/gravelly portions. If the weather cooperates, the ceremony will be outdoors, with a sit-down dinner inside the manor. Keep the stilettos safe at home (block heels, flats and wedges will fare better) and bring something to keep you warm at night. The mountain air can get chilly this time of year.
The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 pm, so plan to arrive between 3:30 and 4:00. If you arrive on the earlier side, you’ll be able to enjoy live music. Cocktail hour and dinner will follow the ceremony.
For early October, daytime highs in Fleischmanns usually average in the low 60's and nights may average in the low to mid 50's.
At the rehearsal dinner you will enjoy tacos and other mexican-style dishes. The reception will be a sit-down, family style dinner with several main dishes and sides, all featuring Catskill area meat, fish, and produce. There will be vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options at each meal.
Cellphone service in and around Fleischmanns can get a bit spotty, as it is a rural, more remote area. Spillian does have wifi on site.
No. We'll have a variety of red and white wines, local beers, our 2 signature cocktails, iced tea, lemonade, soda, water, coffee and tea. The bartenders are lovely people, so feel free to show your thanks.
Spillian is remote, so driving your car is your best bet. Uber and Lyft are extremely limited in the area.
It requires a little more thought than usual since there is limited mobile reception in large areas of the Catskills. We strongly recommend you download or take screenshots of your Google maps and save information on your phone or print directions. If you accidentally lose your map there's no guarantee that you'll get service to get it back (as we've experienced a few times up here!)
There is indeed parking at Spillian. We LOVE you all and want everyone to be smart and safe, so please plan to get home responsibly. Uber is harder to come by up in these mountains, so please try to plan car services ahead of time if you plan on using them.
