During covid, Alex and I watched A LOT of food & travel shows...and one of our favorite's "Somebody Feed Phil" stopped here on his tour of Chicago. Rustic bakery with a rotating menu of homemade sweet & savory pies & biscuits for eat-in or takeout. Expect a wait.
Taste of Lebanon Restaurant
No-frills, counter-serve spot serving traditional Lebanese fare including falafel, kebabs & more. CASH ONLY. Alex and I stumbled upon this spot after our engagement ring appointment down the street and discovered the best shawarma & kafta wraps ever.

Known for its many famous alums like Tina Fey, Chris Farley this storied spot hosts popular sketch shows. Other great venues include: I.O. Chicago, Annoyance, and Laugh out Loud
