FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable and happy on our special day, so please come in a dressy casual style. The theme is floral, so Dana would love it if you could incorporate floral patterns into your outfit. Since the event is entirely outdoors and on a mountain, we recommend wearing shoes that are suitable for walking on uneven ground, especially for the ladies. Sturdy wedges or shoes with a thick base are recommended if you intend to wear heels - or bring a backup pair of shoes to reach the Chapel in the Sky. Please avoid wearing black dresses.

Question

Answer

There is no service at this location, please be mindful before you begin your travels to load the destination on your phone or use a map (old school we know). If you need internet service upon arrival: -NETWORK NAMES (depending on where you are on the property): Fie Top, Chapel in the Sky, Nantahala Weddings. -PASSWORD: floatabovetheclouds

Question

What if I need additional assistance getting to the Chapel in the Sky?

Answer

There is a designated venue ATV available before and after the ceremony to shuttle guests with limited mobility from parking lot to ceremony site and them back down to the reception pavilion. Important Safety Note: Per Polaris safety guidelines, children under the age of 12 are not permitted to ride in the ATV shuttle.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited capacity at the venue, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invite reads "and guest" you are welcome to bring someone, otherwise please attend on your own. Thanks!
