Here's a list of some local things to do if you are traveling from out of state and have have extra time to explore the area.

Keuka Lake

Answer

Public access at Keuka Lake State Park: beach, playgrounds, hiking trails, boat access and camping. Keuka College's lake access: Point Neamo is located directly behind the Chapel on Lake Ave. This is a great place to swim, picnic, and enjoy lake views. Penn Yan: Indian Pines Park and Red Jacket Park both have playgrounds, picnic tables, and roped off swimming areas.

Hiking

Answer

The Outlet Trail is an easy hike to see local waterfalls and walk along the outlet that flows between Keuka Lake in Penn Yan and Seneca Lake in Dresden. Visit https://www.keukaoutlettrail.org/ for more information. If you are up for a drive to Watkins Glen (about 45 minutes) you can visit Watkins Glen State Park. The gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the spray of Cavern Cascade. Rim trails overlook the gorge.
