A Penn State football game meant that Kyle had to find a new place to study other than the Law building, so he decided to go to a Starbucks. Dana was working the register that night, so when Kyle ordered a Triple Venti White Chocolate Mocha, he wasn't charged for the extra shot of espresso. Dana was an undergraduate who didn't drink much caffeine at the time, so when she started talking to Kyle on her 10-minute break and gave him a Triple Venti Caramel Brulee Latte, she didn't know that six shots of espresso was probably too much for one human being in the span of a few hours. She also didn't know that he drank an entire 5-hour energy beforehand, so he was probably hearing colors and seeing sound.

On a weekend trip to State College to meet up with some friends, Kyle made sure the hotel was pet-friendly. Kyle and Dana took their late dog, KJ, for a walk in a park they refer to as "our park." This is the park they frequented when they lived in State College, and was where Dana first wanted to say "I love you." She didn't until they got back to his apartment and nervously said she wanted to tell him something, but didn't know how he was going to react. He said to just tell him and he promised it would be okay. He obviously said it back...immediately. Kyle knew that Dana would see the small wooden box in his pocket, so he decided to hide it in the top of his tall socks under his pants. Kyle started saying how much he loved her and how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, but Dana was a little distracted because KJ had wandered around and had some burrs in his fur. Kyle got down to take the burrs out, but took out the ring instead and ask her to marry him. She obviously said yes...after crying for a bit.
