They say love knows no bounds—and for us, that’s more than just a saying. It’s 3,672 miles of proof. We met the modern way: online. A few swipes and clicks, some unexpected chemistry, and suddenly two people on opposite sides of the world found themselves in the beginning of something extraordinary. Dana was in Wood Dale, Illinois and Darren in Glasgow, Scotland—with nearly an ocean and a continent between us. What started as messages and late-night (or early morning!) video calls quickly grew into something deeper. Somehow, the distance made our connection stronger. We shared our lives in photos, stories, and stolen time zones. We learned to navigate long-distance birthdays, holidays apart, and countless countdowns to the next visit. And every time we closed that 3,672-mile gap—even for a weekend—it reminded us that this was real. This was worth it. Eventually, the miles didn’t feel so far. Because what we found in each other was home. And now, we're ready to turn a long-distance love story into a lifelong one. We can’t wait to celebrate with you—no matter how many miles you’re coming from.
