When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We kindly ask for your response by May 1, 2025. There is an option to RSVP, here on the website, or through the mail with the postcard included in your invitation packet.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We politely request that there be no children under the age of 14 at the ceremony or reception.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, Garden Party We encourage you to pick your favorite garden inspired colors & prints, but please keep it semi-formal. Weather permitting, there will be ample time to be outside enjoying the vineyard, lakeview and sunset. We will also have games! For men, we suggest a suit or sport coat with slacks. For women, we recommend light breezy dresses with strappy sandals, espadrilles, or comfortable wedges as they are ideal for walking on grass.

What is the weather in the Finger Lakes in June?
Answer
Daytime highs typically range from 70°F to 80°F, with occasional hot spells pushing into the 90s. The area enjoys long, sunny days with cool, breezy evenings, especially near the water. Don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen, as the sun can be strong, especially during midday. A light jacket or sweater might come in handy for cooler evenings by the lake.

What type of food will be served at the reception?
Answer
When the groom is a chef, you can trust food is a priority! While there will not be a formal, plated dinner, different food options will be available throughout the evening - so don't fill up too early! There will be gluten-free/nut-free/vegan option available, but please be sure to indicate your needs/restrictions on your RSVP so we can be sure to accommodate everyone!

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
The Finger Lakes region is known for its wine and local breweries. We will be showcasing several vineyards, especially our venue's - Flatt Rock Wine Cellars (delicious red wines). We will be offering several beer and cider options as well as a signature cocktail (or 2)!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes. Flatt Rock Wine Cellars has parking near the venue. We do encourage those of you who wish to drink to consider booking a room in one of our blocks so we can provide transportation to make sure you arrive home safely!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes. Our host hotels; Single Island Shores and The Hotel Laurel at Seneca will have transportation available to and from the wedding. If you wish to have a car service we recommend Main Street Drivers. Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
We are thrilled that you are making the trip to NY to celebrate with us. We want you to be able to enjoy time in the region for yourselves, and to see what we love about it! We encourage you to take time before and after the wedding to explore the state parks, vineyards/breweries and small towns in the region. Please visit our "Things To Do" section for some of our recommendations!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?
Answer
We ask that you respect our privacy and please do not share photos of us from our wedding on social media, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images. However, we would love to see your photos. Please feel free to share directly with us. We will a QR Code to an album at the wedding.
