Check out Rhode Island's beautiful state house. The dome of the State House is the fourth-largest self-supporting marble dome in the world, after St. Peter's Basilica, the Taj Mahal, and the Minnesota State Capitol. The State House is open to the public Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm except holidays. Free guided tours are offered at 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 1 pm, and 2 pm.
