Freshman year I met a girl who told me she was going to be the Mayor of Sumter one day and now she's one of my very best friends. Her infamous "honk" has become one of my favorite sounds of college. Rebecca knows how to make people laugh but also she knows how to care for those around her. She is loyal and confident and there is no one else I'd rather have on my team.

Andrew was one of my first friends when I started running cross country and the only one in our high school friend group that shared my love of sports. He has always been an older brother figure to me, and I am glad to call him one of my closest friends.

Ethan was always the smartest, but not always the most coordinated. It is a good thing he chose to run cross country as a result. I can always count on him to be a voice of reason and to catch all TV show references I make. I am glad he became one of my best friends almost nine years ago.

Since Move-in day Freshman year Maddie has always been by my side. Sadly, I'm getting a new roommate so we can't live together forever - but I will always cherish the last four years living with Maddie. She has been a constant through college and you can always count on her for an inappropriate joke or for some kind words of encouragement.

He is the funniest, most genuine, and best friend a guy could ask for. Collins and I have roomed together for 3 years now and he has not become anymore normal in that span. I am glad that we could not find a place to live a few years ago so that we could wind up in the same place for years to come and become great friends. Dane (Bird) is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. We have lived together for the last two years and I am glad that I have had someone to constantly improve my golf game with (neither of us are very good). Dane is spontaneous and would do anything for the people closest to him.
