Like most love stories, our story starts at a bar in Asbury Park. The Memorial Day holiday was approaching and as most of you know, that weekend signifies the beginning of traffic, headaches, and out of towners stealing our beach spots. I was out looking for no trouble at all but little did I know that Dan and his friend were on their way to our destination, Watermark. The Watermark is known for its lemonade beverages, one too many can hinder your judgment, and the next thing I knew. My friend was talking to a guy, and I was getting to the bottom of this mason jar. Soon I heard" Is he bothering you?" to my surprise I wasn't horrified by this person taping me on the shoulder. It was Dan & his kind eyes. Eye's that resemble those of Santa Claus. I mean Santa Claus eyes couldn't be a creep? I was instantly put at ease and we began to chat. The rest is history and neither of us really remember this story as it's been retold to us in variations about 100 times. I left shortly after we met because a bouncer caught me sitting on the foot rail of the bar. Before I left, we had some cell phone issues and as technology goes I gave my number but not my name. Dan was brave enough to text me " Hey, what's your name?" Since that night we have consistently danced, sang, tested whose has more of only child behavior, had musical knowledge referenced, and laughed till we've cried. Simply we are the John & Paul, Sonny & Cher, Hall & Oates, Elton & Bernie, and I'm realizing most of these are guys, but you get it. We are Harmony. Fast forward to 2019, Fourth of July, fireworks, bended knee, and my Massive Surprise. We're doing this thing! We're getting Married in the warmest, most kind, and beautiful city, New Orleans. As the famous Tennessee Williams had said " America has only three cities: New York, San Francisco, and New Orleans.
