Flight
Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
The New Orleans Airport (MSY) is about 10 miles from downtown New Orleans and easily accessible by Uber/Lyft or shuttle from any hotel or rentals. If you're flying into New Orleans we don't necessarily recommend renting a car - overnight hotel and street parking can be tricky and expensive downtown. Uber/Lyft are widely available for any trips that aren't walkable.
Train
Streetcars
Streetcars are a charming and convenient way to experience the many areas of New Orleans. Four distinct lines, each originating Downtown, will take you through the French Quarter and beyond. Margaret Place is located right off the St. Charles Streetcar Line, the oldest continuously operating streetcar line in the world. Swaying along St. Charles Avenue through a tunnel of Live Oaks, the streetcar passes dozens of antebellum mansions, Loyola and Tulane universities, breathtaking Audubon Park , and fine hotels, restaurants, and bars.
