FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The bride has selected a champagne-colored gown, with the bridesmaids in a lovely fall cinnamon color. Formal dress requested with ladies kindly asked to select colors that vary from the bride and bridal party.

Question

You have an outdoor ceremony planned. Do you have a backup plan?

Answer

Although a request was placed for ideal weather, Mother Nature does not guarantee her work. If it should be cool, please bring a jacket or sweater. In the event of cold and rain, both the ceremony and the cocktail reception will be moved indoors to the Corinthian East Ballroom.

Question

How long have you two been together?

Answer

The time has flown, but our first date was on November 20, 2015. We will be celebrating our wedding right before our 10th anniversary. Safe to say, we didn't rush. We often say we wish we would have known each other much earlier in life, but reasoned we still have about 50 years together. Each anniversary we count down.. so this year is 40 years to go!

Question

How did you meet?

Answer

We filled out a very long and specific questionnaire when we each joined Match.com. The algorithm considered our morals and values, interests, and many other aspects. When all was said and done, we were a surprising 96% match. Instantly realizing we had each found our person, it truly was a moment of kismet and love at first sight.

Question

Are children invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we adore the children in our family, we have selected a child-free wedding. This is going to be a small and intimate wedding, and we would like the parents to enjoy a carefree night on the town. We wish them a wonderful time as they enjoy what we have planned.

Question

Will Monte be part of the wedding?

Answer

We originally wanted our cockapoo, Monte, to be the ring bearer for us. The venue was on board, but due to his over enthusiastic nature, we thought it best that he keep his regular day job of watching the house. We know he would shrug his ring bearer responsibilities for jumping, giving kisses, and looking for treats.
