There are plenty of rental houses in the area.
Flight
Boston's Logan International Airport is the closest major airport and is about a two hour drive from UMass. Bradley Airport is smaller but only about an hour drive from UMass. New York City airports are approximately 3 hours drive away.

Bradley International Airport is approximately 45 minutes from Amherst by car. It is significantly smaller than Boston Logan Airport or New York City airports.
