Abigail and Daniel first met in middle school in 2011. Growing up in Holden, they remained close friends throughout high school and college. During a summer break on Cape Cod, they reconnected, and their bond only grew stronger. What started as a lifelong friendship blossomed into something even more special. With their outgoing personalities and shared love of sports, Abby and Dan always enjoyed a bit of friendly competition. As they introduced each other to their respective friend groups, they seamlessly formed lasting friendships. In the summer of 2020, Abby and Dan took the next step in their journey, turning their friendship into a romantic relationship. They quickly became part of each other’s families. Dan, the youngest in his family, is gaining three younger sisters-in-law—Elizabeth, Lauren, and Catherine—to look after. Meanwhile, Abby, the oldest in her family, will have an older sister-in-law, Rachel, and a brother-in-law, Alex, to cherish. From summers at the lake and adventures on Cape Cod to a whirlwind European vacation, Abby and Dan have built a love that continues to grow, deeply rooted in family and shared experiences. On November 19, 2023, Dan proposed to Abby at Glen Echo Lake—a place close to her heart, where she spent summers growing up and where her family still resides. Surrounded by loved ones, what began as a welcome party for their new puppy, Koda, turned into a joyful engagement celebration. With hearts full of love, Abigail and Daniel warmly welcome you to celebrate their journey and the beginning of their forever together.
