David and Amy met back in March 2017. For a while, neither of them thought there was mutual attraction, so they remained friends. Amy tried getting closer to David by seeking dating advice. She needed an excuse to talk to him, and she was looking for a way to get his attention; all she wanted was for David to ask her out on a date. Well, that didn't happen until one day Amy decided to ask him to go out for beer and pizza. Their first date was at bootlegger's in Downtown Fullerton, that first date was the first day of their relationship, that's where it all started, they couldn't keep their eyes off each other, and holding hands felt just right! It felt like the safest place in the world to them; the more they hung out, the more fun they had. What made them both realize that this was it, was the fact that no matter where they'd go or what they'd do, they always had the best time together, they didn't need crazy or expensive dates because being with each other was what made them the happiest they've ever been. The proposal: It was New years eve, 2018. David made Amy a delicious dinner at home, then they went to a New Years' eve party at Pacific palms resort in the City of Industry. David, Joey, Jaime, Monique and Amy started the night having some drinks at the hotel room, later on, they went downstairs to RED restaurant, David told Amy he wanted to walk around, so he took her outside, a few minutes later, Amy saw a heart made out of candles on the ground! David took her in it, got on one knee and asked, "would you do me the honor of being my wife?" With happy tears, Amy replied I would love to! David and Amy are ready to spend the rest of their lives together, they waited a long time to find "the one", and they are lucky to say they have found the perfect match.
