Of course! Make sure to let us know if you will be staying for dinner or just the ceremony.
Trapp Family Lodge! Where we are staying!
NO WAY!! We would LOVE if you stayed as long as us, but we totally understand if you need to get back to your obligations. This isn’t our honeymoon so not weird at all. It would be like a mini vacation 😀
Taking photos, popping champagne, then going out to dinner at The Reservoir. After dinner we'll be coming back to celebrate and party at our suite!
After the wedding we will be having dinner at The Reservoir. We are expecting to arrive there around 6:30pm. Dinner will be served family style, and choices will be indicated on RSVP card.
We are going to have catered craft pizzas for everyone on Sunday evening

YES, 7 miles, through tough terrain, in your dress clothes. With no water. KIDDING 😂! It’s a 10 minute walk. Our ceremony takes place at the chapel which is a 10minute walk on an uphill path behind the lodge. There are beautiful, amazing easy trails you have the pleasure of exploring during your stay! (We plan on it!)
Whatever you feel best in. Like you would wear to an outdoor summer wedding. Don't dress like you are going to a royal ball, but also don't dress in jeans. There will be professional photos being taken. Siblings [Angelo, Cyndi, Matt, Ausji, Lexi, Dyl] - Wearing colors that tie into our color scheme
Only if they are invited. So please no extras. We aren’t bringing our friends or furbabies (though.. our dream would be a bunch of dog wedding guests!)
https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/vermont/romantic-chapel-vt/ The Von Trapp family chapel is tucked away in the forest above the hotel. Reaching the chapel requires an intense by relatively quick hike through the woods. Once you reach the spot, you’ll be awed by the serenity and beauty of this charming structure. It was built in 1945 by Werner Von Trapp, the fourth child of the Captain Georg von Trapp and his first wife. Werner Von Trapp fought with the U.S. Army in Europe against the Germans. He reportedly swore to build a chapel if he survived the war. True to his word, Von Trapp constructed this little stone chapel after his safe return from the war. He and his famous singing family remained in Stowe, which reminded them of their native Austria. A visit this charming chapel is not to be missed. It’s a romantic and historic spot that is a true connection to the past.
