Travel Documents

- Passport: Make sure your travel documents are not expired and far from being expired! Your passport expiration date should be more than 6 months later than your travel date. - Visa: As of right now, Spain does not require any visas for US citizens entering the country for less than 90 days. If you hold other passports please check visa requirements for entering Spain.

Flight

Flight to Spain

We recommend flying into the Barcelona airport (BCN). Alternatively, you can fly to Madrid (MAD) and take a high-speed train to Barcelona.

Train

Train to Tarragona

If you do not want to rent a car in Spain, there are direct trains from Barcelona to Tarragona run frequently (around 33–50+ daily), taking between 30 minutes (high-speed) and 1 hour 15 minutes (regional) for the 80 km journey. Trains depart from Barcelona Sants or Passeig de Gràcia.
