Is our flight included as part of the vacation package?

Answer

No, flights are not included, but you can request our travel agents book your flight for you. If you choose to book the flight on your own, please send your itinerary to our travel agents so they can organize transportation to/from the airport.

Can I set up a payment plan with VIP Vacations, Inc.?

Answer

Yes, this is an option! If guests would like to set-up a payment plan, our travel agents can do that! You will need to make the initial deposit, and then our travel agents can work with you to set up a payment plan that meets your needs! Please reach out to our travel agents for further details.

What are the payment due dates?

Answer

March 7, 2023: Initial deposit of $200 is due per adult to secure your room. April 6, 2023: second installment due and is 50% of the total room cost is due. Final payment is due on May 8, 2023

Is transportation included to and from the hotel?

Answer

Yes! Roundtrip transfers will be coordinated by our travel agents. If you are booking your own flights, then please communicate your flight details to our travel agent so they can coordinate this for you.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by January 7th, 2023. We will be sending out formal invitations through regular mail (the good ole’ post office)… Once you receive the invitation you will have the option of responding on here or via the enclosed response card.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Traveling to international destinations requires a valid passport. Full names, as they appear on your Government Issued Passport, dates of birth and passport expiration dates are required to purchase airfare. Your passport must be valid within 6 months of traveling. Yes the resort staff accepts USD.

Is there an extra cost to use my cell phone in the Dominican Republic?

Answer

Depends on your plan and cell phone carrier. We have Verizon and opted to get a “travel pass” that allowed us to use our cell phones for a small fee each day. Check with your carrier beforehand to make sure you don’t incur unnecessary charges. They may have an alternative plan that you can use while out of the country.

If I don’t use my data plan, how do I get in touch with everyone?

The preferred method of communication is “WhatsApp”. Be sure to download this app before leaving. Both Damion and I utilize this as well as the hotel staff and vendors. With WhatsApp, you’ll get fast, simple, secure messaging and calling for free available all over the world. And the best part… it’s FREE!

We encourage you to book with our travel agency VIP Vacations to take advantage of the group room rates. Our agents can also assist with: 1. Round Trip Transfers to and from the airport and hotel. 2. All guests are encouraged to purchase travel insurance. You will be provided with insurance information upon booking.

What is the E-ticket?

Answer

You will be required to fill out an E-ticket to enter and leave the Dominican Republic. This E-ticket needs to be filled out 48-hours prior to your travel.
