Places To Eat

This is (of course) a non-exhaustive list of some breakfast/lunch/dinner/drink spots in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. If you have an extra mealtime to spare while in New York, these are great options. If not, save them for future visits! :)

Regular NYC

Breakfast/Lunch

We stumbled upon this Australian coffee/brunch spot when searching for hotels in the area and fell in love! What was initially a place to warm our hands became a delicious meal with the friendliest owner and great staff. Definitely stop in here for a bite to eat or cup of coffee, if you have the time!

Ess-A-Bagel

Bagels

Ess-a-Bagel is a classic. The original is a bit uptown on First Avenue between 19th and 20th Streets. However, they JUST opened a new location a couple blocks from the hotels. If you're looking for a fluffy New York bagel, this is the spot!

City Vineyard

Drinks/Lunch/Dinner

At Pier 26 along the Hudson River, this has beautiful views! There's also outdoor mini golf just next door at Pier 25.

Tiny's & The Bar Upstairs

Drinks/Lunch/Dinner

Our first date spot <3 cute place for a drink and a light bite.

Brooklyn Crab

Lunch/Dinner

One of our first and favorite dates began with a competitive night of axe throwing and ended with an impromptu meal here. Ripping apart crab legs was apparently the moment Eric fell in love.... Great seafood - plan to get messy digging in!

Hometown Bar-B-Que

Lunch/Dinner

Unbelievable barbecue in Brooklyn. If you have an extra meal while in the city and enjoy barbecue at all (ribs, pulled pork, brisket, chicken), head here!
