February 2015: Ale and Damian first met for a brief moment while studying in the library during college. Since they were both engineering majors, they unavoidably came to see each other often through mutual friends and their shared participation in clubs. Ale found Damian to be *slightly* annoying at first...

July 21, 2017: After a few years of getting to know each other as friends, Damian asked Ale to be his girlfriend at the end of their date while on the top of Mt. Wilson. In fear of having to walk home, she said YES.

February 7th, 2020: Damian took Ale to the top of the skyline in San Diego for a romantic dinner. As the dinner neared it's end, Damian revealed a gift he had brought for her, a jar full of wrapped memory notes. At the very top lay one larger than the rest, with the day's date and on it asking for Ale's hand in marriage. Then 3 days later Damian left to Florida. They planned to see each other once a month, but COVID had other plans :)

August 22, 2020: On a warm summer evening, Ale and Damian held their civil marriage on the steps of the Laguna Hills Civic Center surrounded just by their immediate family and a couple of friends. Their evening was capped out by a Thai food dinner and a lemon blueberry cake at home.
