Will the wedding be outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside weather permiting and the reception will be inside the venue.

How early can we arrive?

Answer

Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time unless you are specifically requested to be there sooner. The Ceremony will be outside and we do not want you to be in the heat any longer than necessary.

What time is dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be APPROXIMATELY at 7:45pm after the cocktail hour/wedding pictures. If this is a concern, we recommend a late lunch or lite snack before coming to the ceremony.

Will I be let in if running late?

Answer

Since the ceremony is outside. The gates to the venue will be locked about 7 minutes prior to the 5:30 start time for ceremony to avoid distractions to the service. However, The gates will reopen immediately following the ceremony at approximately 6:15pm. So you can always wait and join us for cocktail hour and reception even if you are late.

Do I need money for the Bar?

Answer

No, the bride and groom have provided the drinks for the evening. However, tips are appreciated by the bar staff, but not required.

If I need directions or have a question on the day of the wedding who should I contact?

Answer

You can reach out to family friend Beth at 903-241-5813 with any questions the day of the wedding. This will allow the bride and groom to relax and enjoy their day and not have to worry about any emergencies or last minute questions.

Why is is Hotel Block in Longview and the Wedding in Gladewater?

Answer

Gladewater is a small town and they do not have a good selection of hotels. Longview is the Tyra's hometown and only about 20 to 30 minutes to the venue. Longview is the closest big town to the venue and is where the bride and groom will be staying prior to the wedding.
