2006 We met in middle school with lockers across the hall from each other. We ended up in the same friend group. In 8th grade, Damian asked Emily out on a date online on MySpace, when he posted it publicly on her wall... Emily never replied *oops*. 2011 All through out high-school we were friends off and on. Our Junior year, we had the same Chemistry class and became closer friends. April 4, 2011 Damian asked Emily to be his girlfriend n the school parking lot at Raytown South High School, this time Emily replied with “sure”. 2012 During our senior year, Emily was the soccer manager for the Varisty Boys team. Damian stayed after-school to help with the Theatre Department’s musicals and plays Emily was in. We went to prom together at the Royal’s Stadium and graduated from Raytown South High School in May of 2012. We attended UCM together in the fall. Damian for Criminal Justice, and Emily went for Art Education. 2013 Our first apartment together was in Warrensburg where we could finally live with animals! Damian had his dog from home, Mojo. Emily bought a new puppy, Meeko. A year later, we bought one together, Athena. 2015 Our second apartment together in Kansas City. 2016 Damian graduated from UCM. 2017 Damian was hired by KCPD and started the Kansas City Police Academy. 2018 Emily finally graduated and signed an Art Teaching contract. August 2018 We bought a house together in Kansas City! March 20th, 2019 Damian’s Proposal! Emily said yes at Be Our Guest Restaurant sitting in the West Wing by the enchanted rose at Magic Kingdom. March 2020 Charlotte Rose Jones was born, then COVID-19 shutdown and quartine. Athena passed away. April 4, 2020 Because of the quarantine we had to quickly change plans. We said I do with immediate family in Tammy Jones’ backyard. May 2020 Artemis (our new husky puppy) was adopted into our family! October 30, 2020 We celebrate our “I do”s with you!
