We're Getting Hitched!

A random match on hinge brought us together with great conversation over text but it didn't translate to our first date. Alissa thought Damian was too shy and quiet, and Damian thought Alissa hated him, but at the end of the night both decided that each other deserved a second chance at a first impression. The second date was the best date either of us had and by the third date we were official. We bonded over our love of hiking, and our very first hike was stairway to heaven less than one month into dating. We barely knew each other at this point but what's a better way to bond with someone than doing a 7 mile streneous hike (which Alissa thought was going to be 2.5 miles but Damian had other plans). We've never stopped hiking together and our love grew. 2 years, a dog, and hikes all over the US later, we are getting married at the first national park we visited together.

Our goal is to visit all 63 national parks in the United States, and Acadia will always hold a special place in our hearts since it was the first one we visited. It was our first long distance roadtrip, the place where Alissa refused to listen to Damian to be careful and then fell and sprained her wrist (and Damian will never let her live it down), and the place that sparked our love for national parks. We know it is a far trip, but it is a very sentimental place to us and we would love if you could celebrate with us and enjoy one of our favorite places.
