I have known Christan all of my life because she is my sister! Christan is the oldest out of the 3 sisters and most protective over her sisters. Christan is outspoken, but vibrant. Having her as a big sister has been fun and such a pleasure. Christan is the type of sister who protects her own and gives the best advice. Of course I had to have my big sister be the Matron of Honor at my wedding.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Chelsea all of my life as well because she is my sister! I have always looked up to Chelsea and wanted to be just like her. Chelsea is the middle sister and is very vocal, caring, and calm all in one. Chelsea always brings the good vibes to every room she enters into. Asking Chelsea to be my Matron of Honor was a no brainer!

Breon and I met in law school. We both connected because we came from the same background of tradition and family values. Law school came with trials and tribulations, but having Breon there with me made that period of my life enjoyable. Breon and I spent literally everyday together while in law school just studying, hanging out, eating, and going out! Breon has become more than a law school friend to me she is one of my best friends who I can always count on for anything and my partner in crime.

Raven and I have been best friends since we were children. Raven and I were such curious kids, so we kept our mothers busy running after us. Our moms even dressed us alike for years. Raven is the type of friend that does not beat around the bush and tells you the truth. There is this running joke between us that I act more like her mom and she acts more like my mom. Nonetheless, Raven has been by my side for a long time, and she has always supported me and been there for me. I am so grateful for her and her friendship.

Ashlei and I have been friends since childhood. Ashlei is soft spoken, bubbly, and a joy to be around. Ashlei has always shown up for me in so many ways. When we were little we used to play church and make up dance routines all the time. We had so much fun as kids and I can't wait to make more memories as adults.

I have known Tomeisha since we were kids. We went to the same church together and the same middle and high school. Tomeisha and I have had some great times and we were always getting into something. From the fun nights in downtown Macon to our late night McDonald's trips to get cookies. Tomeisha is the friend that never judges and is always there to uplift your spirits.

Tia and I met in the 1st grade at Springdale Elementary School. Tia is one of those friends that gives the best advice and I love our girl talks. Tia and I went to the same middle and high school as well, but we did not go to the same college however that did not keep us a part. I used to visit Tia at UGA and go to their homecomings and she used to come to Spelman and visit ours. One homecoming at Spelman, Tia and I and our friends all piled up in my dorm with one twin bed and had the best time! Tia is always down for a good time, good food, and good vibes. Everyone needs a friend like Tia.

Now, I have known Tesia since childhood as well, but Tesia was two grades ahead of me so we did not become close until college. Tesia was my Residential Advisor at Spelman College and of course she was my favorite RA. My second year at Spelman, I was going through a hard time and Tesia encouraged, prayed, and brought me out of that hard time. I hung out with Tesia every day to the point where my mom used to say "What are you going to do when Tesia graduates"!? Tesia is the friend you can go out with and have a good time and also go to church with the next day! I am so thankful for Tesia and the friendship we created. She will always be my ride or die!

Sheena is my big cousin! When we were little I used to bug Sheena to make me burn CDs with music on it. I always followed behind Sheena and every time my mom and I visited Montezuma, I would make her take me to Sheena's house, because I knew I could hang out with her and watch 106 & Park. I have so many memories with Sheena, but the best one would be the both of us dancing to Beyonce Get me bodied. Sheena is definitely the one who is going to tell it to you straight, but it is all love from her. I might not ever stop bugging Sheena, but she is already aware that she cannot get rid of me!

Sharon is another big cousin of mine. My favorite memory of Sharon would be the time my mom and I went to Montezuma and I wanted to go to the arcade place in Warner Robins. My mom told Sharon to get her car and take me and whoever wants to go to the arcade. Sharon never says no, so she took me and some of my cousins to the arcade in Warner Robins and we had a time that day! Sharon is the person who is down for anything (within reason or not lol) and she is the most relaxed person I have met. She never lets anything or anyone get to her and I love that about her.

Jamie is my other big cousin. Of course I have known Jamie all my life and I have way too many memories with her. Jamie lived in Atlanta when I was at Spelman College in Atlanta. All I had to do was call Jamie and she would pick me up for the weekend, let me wash clothes, and show me a great time on the weekend. Jamie is the reason I love Beyonce because she took me to my very first Beyonce concert in 2014! Jamie is such a go getter and I have learned so much from her that I live by to this day.

Kayla and I met at Spelman College Freshman Year. We became close friends the beginning of my sophomore year. I brought Kayla to Macon one time for the weekend and my family loved her. Kayla and I were inseparable in college, we ate at the cafe together all the time, sung at our school choir together, took classes together, etc. Kayla has always been my care free friend and that is why I love her. I miss seeing her everyday at school, but I am happy we continued our friendship after college.

Brittany and I have known each other for over 20+ years. We met in 1st grade and became best friends since. I remember when Brittany moved up the street from my house and I was so happy because now we lived closer to each other. Brittany and I did everything together such as summer camps, chorus at school, but our favorite thing to do was watch youtube and dance to all the trending dances. The best memory I have with Brittany would be the year she hosted the Super Bowl Party at her house. We had the best time. Brittany was and still is my ACE and I am so appreciative to have her in my life.
