Travel Note
Below, we have ways to travel and places to stay if you are hoping to attend our wedding in person. The hotel recommendations are very close to the venue and affordable. But, there are many other hotels in the local area, including resorts and spas closer to downtown. Please choose whatever options best suit you!
Flight
ABQ International Sunport is the closest airport to Rio Rancho. The airport accomodates most major airlines and most rental car companies.
Train
Amtrak trains are also available from Detroit and Chicago, if you would like to take the scenic route! The local train station is Alvarado Transportation Center, 320 1st St SW, Albuquerque, NM 87102, in downtown ABQ.
Hotel
A recently renovated 2-star hotel, located near both venues. A stay costs around $90 per night for 2 people. Check-in is available beginning at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is at 11:00 a.m., local hotel time. These suites offer complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and kitchens with coffeemakers. Some have pull-out sofas. There is a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast bar available from 6:00 a.m. to -9:30 a.m, which includes coffee, hot water, tea, hot cocoa, oatmeal, muffins, and granola bars. Other amenities consist of an exercise room, coin-operated laundry facilities, and an outdoor pool, plus a meeting room. Free parking is available. Pets are welcome for a fee. Rooms are Smoke-free, but smoking is allowed outdoors.

A nicely rated 3-star hotel, located near both venues. A stay costs around $130 per night for 2 people. Check-in is available beginning at 3:00 p.m., and check-out is at 12:00 a.m., local time. Flat-screen TVs, minifridges, iPod docks and free Wi-Fi are offered in each room, as well as traditional decor and custom-designed beds. There's a buffet or cooked-to-order breakfast for a fee (not free) and a restaurant serving American cuisine. An indoor pool and a fitness center are also offered. The hotel is pet-friendly, but call ahead to check about a fee. Free parking is available.
