Union Station & WWI Memorial is located in central KC MO. This is actually the only museum dedicated to WWI & offers great views of the city skyline!
Just down the hill from the memorial is the beautifully restored Union Station. Opened in 1914, this train station now serves as a beautiful space with a museum, planetarium, live theater, and cinema inside!
Stop by where Joe & Mallory had one of their first dates mini-golfing in the summer. The Nelson-Atkins Museum offers free entry! Make sure to take a picture with the iconic shuttlecocks!
On the First Friday of every month (aka June 6th), thousands of residents and visitors will explore the Crossroads for a huge community event- First Fridays! This walkable event features local artists, food trucks, & more! We recommend parking on the street or near Union Station and taking the free streetcar! Use the link above for more information!
Stop by The City Market just north of downtown, KC's main farmer's market Saturdays & Sundays 8 am-3 pm. We recommend grabbing a City Market Coffee located in the market and walking by the Berkley Riverfront Park & Trail!
We recommend visiting one of KC's coolest neighborhoods -- the Crossroads! This area has delicious restaurants, cute boutiques and quirky street art. Made in KC is a way to support small business & grab some KC souvenirs!
Our favorite (and in our opinion THE best) BBQ joint is Arthur Bryant's BBQ. We recommend the famous burnt ends!
A slightly more upscale and equally delicious BBQ option. We recommend the brisket or the ribs!
