We have decided to postpone our large religious ceremony and wedding celebration until August 9, 2020. Please note our venue remains the same, but our date and time have changed. We still plan to elope/legally marry on our original date of May 25, 2020 (if we can secure a marriage license, which COVID-19 has prevented us from attaining). This may not have been our ideal scenario, but we are at peace with our decision to postpone our large celebration in order to ensure the safety of our guests.
While we would love to invite every single one of our loved ones, regrettably we will be unable to. As the bride and groom, we are paying for our entire wedding and, well, our lovely bride has expensive taste when it comes to wedding venues. In order to provide ourselves and our guests with an amazing wedding experience, we are unable to provide an invitation to all of our loved ones. We are so excited to share our special day with you, but kindly request you do not discuss, invite, nor share our wedding details.
We have registered for a few items we love at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Also, we have a honeymoon fund for Bali, Indonesia. Both our registry and the honeymoon fund can be found by clicking the "registry" tab at the top of our webpage.
We love your kids—we really do. But, in order to allow all guests, including parents, an evening of relaxation we have chosen for our wedding day to be an adult only occasion. We hope this advance notice means you are still able to share our big day and will enjoy having the evening off!
The formal wedding invite you receive will indicate the number of spots that have been reserved for you.
Our venue is anticipated to be entirely outdoors (fingers crossed for great, sunny weather). Ladies wear your favorite sundress, jumpsuit, or dress pants. You may want to rethink stilettos and opt for nice sandals, wedges, or a blocked heel, given there is a large amount of grass. Gentlemen, wear your favorite suit and don't forget your dancing shoes!
