Question
What is a “cocktail style reception?”
Answer
We are doing things slightly untraditional :) While we won’t be having a traditional sit down dinner service, food will be continuously served all night. We will have a mix of passed hors d’oeuvres, food stations, and passed small plates. There won’t be any assigned seats so guests can feel free to mingle, sit down and relax at any of the cocktail tables available both indoors and outdoors.

Will there be transportation provided to the venue?
Answer
We will have a trolley to pick people up in Asbury Park before the wedding and bring them to Watermark. If you are staying at a hotel or a house in Asbury Park, please reach out to the bride or groom with the address and we will do our best to make sure the trolley can pick you up! Please note the trolley will not be running after the wedding- we suggest you Uber back to where you are staying.

What is the dress code for your wedding?
Answer
Elegant cocktail attire. Men are encouraged to wear suits and women are encouraged to wear either cocktail or formal dresses.

What is the schedule for the day?
Answer
Guests will arrive at watermark at 5:15 and the ceremony will begin at 5:30. There will be limited seating for the ceremony that will be reserved for family/older guests. Everyone else is asked to gather around and behind the seats (the ceremony will be super short you will not be standing long!!). Right after the ceremony we will have a cocktail hour that will flow right into the rest of the cocktail style reception with dancing! There will be no formal sit down dinner, instead, food will be continuously passed all night. All other events including speeches and dances will be announced throughout the night. There is ample seating both inside and outdoors for all guests to be comfortable and sit wherever they please throughout the night. Bring your dancing shoes and get ready to party!

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?
Answer
There is metered parking and paid town lots close to the venue. We recommend taking an Uber if you live close by.

Are kids invited?
Answer
While we love your kids, due to limited space our wedding will be an adults only event with the exception of family. Thank you for understanding!

Do I have a plus one?
Answer
If you have a plus one, we have listed her/his name or "Plus One" on your RSVP profile. If you feel we left out someone important, let us know, but understand that our limitations on space may mean we won't be able to accommodate.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The venue is a rooftop with both enclosed indoor space and an outdoor patio area.
