Bridget learned of Willie Daly the matchmaker after her solo trip to Ireland. Willie was known to have powers of bringing love to one’s life. Bridget and Willie wrote two letters where Bridget wrote what she was looking for in a partner. Willie said she was to meet the one in 6 months after his magic got to working. Bridget often does spontaneous things, so this quickly slipped her mind. 6 months or so later, Bridget saw a handsome lad on the classic meeting place, Hinge. She messaged him first as all brave women do. After seeing photos of him in Ireland she decided on the smooth “ah a fellow irishmen.” After a first date to Rhino Wine Bar, where Connor nervously swirled his wine and Bridget yapped for two hours straight, the two knew that the connection and ease they felt was what they were both searching for. Bridget and Connor quickly formed a bond and spent many nights cooking dinners (Connor cooking, Bridget as sous-chef..Shoutout baguette boy), watching Notre Dame football, going to Bridget’s family cabin, and laughing and having the best time every time they were together. Bridget got her irish setter mix, Cully the same week she met Connor. It truly was a BOGO for men entering her life. Bridget was able to see the patience and gentleness Connor had through all the help he gave her with Cully. Bridget and Connor fit perfectly into each other’s lives and were instantly welcomed by the other’s family and friends. Connor keeps Bridget grounded, and Bridget encourages Connor to have fun every day. The two understand what the other is feeling before they can even put it into words themselves. Connor planned to bring Bridget to her favorite restaurant, Josefina, where he then surprised her by bringing her to a garden in Wayzata and asked her to marry him by the lake. After the happiest dinner, Connor had one more surprise, their friends and family waiting at the wine bar where they had their first date.
