What's included in my room rate?

Answer

Nightly rates are inclusive of all meals, drinks, alcoholic beverages, room service, taxes, service charges and gratuities. Additional complimentary services include: Gym, tennis, non-motorized water sports, Kids Club, and nightly entertainment.

What isn't included in my room rate?

Answer

Transportation outside of the resort, spa services, golf, and motorized water sports.

Can I shorten or extend my stay at the resort?

Answer

There is a four-night minimum for wedding guests (Feb. 13-17). If you'd like to extend your stay, the special discounted rate is available three days prior (from Feb. 10) to three days post (to Feb. 20) our scheduled dates.

What should I consider with international travel?

Answer

Check your passport! Make sure it does not expire before March 2026. New or updated passports take ~6 weeks for processing and delivery. Pregnant guests: Zika virus is present in Costa Rica and can be harmful to an unborn baby. There have been 5 reported cases within the country as of July 2025. Consider consulting your doctor about potential risks.

What’s the resort cancellation policy?

Answer

If you cancel up until 30 days prior to arrival: fee equivalent to one night. Less than 30 days notice including no show or early departure: fee is full stay, no refund.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

For those able to join us in Costa Rica, your presence is the present! For those who can’t make the trip but would still like to show support, we’ve set up a Honeymoon Fund in place of a traditional registry. This gift will allow us to extend our stay in Costa Rica to explore the National Parks, waterfalls and cloud forests! Any support is truly appreciated. Want to skip the processing fees? What's the weather like in Costa Rica?

Answer

February is the dry season in Costa Rica, expect plenty of sunshine and daytime high temperatures ranging from 85-90 degrees. At the time of the wedding reception, it will be about 80 degrees, so consider light and breezy attire!

Do I need to exchange currency?

Answer

US dollars are widely accepted and often preferred within Costa Rica. Many tourist-oriented businesses, including those at the resort, will quote prices in USD. ATMs are available onsite. Reminder that gratuity is included in the nightly rate.

Do I need a power adapter?

Answer

No, the resort has the same type of outlets as the United States.
