Question

COVID-19

Answer

So! The most frequently asked question by far is obvious related to the pandemic. David and I have been working throughout the majority of the quarantine. We have been, and plan to continue, following the Phase guidelines of North Carolina and of Orange County, Chapel Hill/Carboro. NC is currently (July 2020) in phase II of social distancing. For our out of state friends and family I will leave a link to what the "Phases" mean in NC. Our idea has always been that we want to celebrate our partnership with the friends and family who have watched as we've grown up and grown together. We would love to see each of you but understand that many of you may not be able to attend in light of the pandemic.

Question

Social Distancing

Answer

Phase II currently recommends groups of 10 or less people inside and 25 outdoors. We are hoping that North Carolina will be able to move to Phase III by the wedding. After thought and discussion we've decided to continue on with the current wedding plans regardless of Phase, unless a stay at home order was re-enacted. We will get married, we would just have to move the celebration with our friends and family to another date or celebrate in a completely new and "dispersed" way. On the North Carolina, NC.gov website Phase II addresses wedding (and funerals) stating; "Even though there is no mass gathering cap on the people who may attend a wedding or funeral ceremony, receptions...before or after weddings...are subject to the mass gathering limit. Individuals are encouraged to...Wear a face covering, Wash hands and Wait 6 feet apart from others...to reduce the chance of spreading COVID-19." We plan to offer space between seating, masks and sanitizer for any/everyone.

Question

RSVP

Answer

We ask that everyone RSVPs via email; arringtonwedding2020@gmail.com. We plan to invite all of our friends and family that we would, regardless of pandemic, imaging 75 guests including children, being the max amount of guests & wedding total. This number, "75" is likely to change a lot from now until the wedding. We will do our best to keep the website updated with an estimate of guests attending for those who are making RSVP decisions related to the pandemic.
