We're Getting Married!

We met when we both worked our first job's at Brookshire's. Sydney was 16 and Dalton was 17. What Sydney remembers from the first time they met was that Dalton was one of the people that got to train her on the cash register and she went home that night and told her mom "Dalton is cute!" What Dalton remembers from that day was how "independent Sydney was and she didn't want any of my help because she already knew what she was doing."

Dalton proposed on New Year's Eve 2020! We were at Sydney's aunt and uncle's house with some of our family and friends. Honey went to get two "late Christmas gifts" for Dalton and Sydney. Sydney opened her gift that was a note saying "Sorry, Daltons gift is better than yours." To which Sydney turned around to Dalton on one knee after opening his gift which was the ring, of course, and he could barely get out "Sydney Jordan Harris, Will you marry me?" She had no idea what was going to happen that evening while her whole family and Dalton's friends all knew. He was a nervous wreck but pulled it off effortlessly!
