FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're having a lakeside summer wedding, and we want everyone to feel comfortable and enjoy the day! Semi-formal attire works perfectly- think dressy, but not overly formal. Feel free to wear any color you like, please avoid white and ivory. Bridesmaids are wearing Steele Blue. Lightweight fabrics and breezy styles are perfect for a summer celebration by the water. We can't wait to see you dressed up and ready to celebrate with us!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during our wedding ceremony.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty parking available at the venue for both the ceremony and reception. Accessible parking spaces are also provided.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have hotel blocks at the Hampton Inn & Suites Chippewa Falls and the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eau Claire North under “Castle–Weigel Wedding.” The link to book is in the "Travel & Stay" tab.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend. Please text Sophia or Dalton if you can't find your name on the RSVP list.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

We’ll be hosting an open bar for part of the evening, followed by a cash bar later on. More details coming soon!

Question

What is there to do during downtime?

Answer

Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls both have plenty to explore! Downtown Eau Claire offers great coffee shops, local restaurants, breweries, boutique shopping, and scenic riverwalks. Chippewa Falls is home to charming downtown spots, parks, trails, and the historic Leinenkugel’s Brewery. For some time on the water, Lake Wissota in Chippewa Falls is perfect for boating, swimming, or just relaxing by the shore. Whether you’re looking to relax, explore, or grab a drink, there’s something for everyone.
