We met on Bumble in October of 2023—modern love at its finest. After a few messages back and forth, we decided to meet in person, and our first date was at Cheddar’s in Webster. Good food, easy conversation, and a lot of laughs—it was a great start. Our second date took us to Topgolf, where we learned two important things: Dalton has a decent swing, and Preslie has great patience. From that point on, we both knew something special was starting. Preslie’s family quickly took to Dalton, thanks to his sense of humor, his kindness, and the way he fit right in like he’d always been there. And to Dalton, Preslie felt like the missing piece he never knew he’d been looking for. By February 2025, Dalton had a house built—a place we’ve been proud to call home ever since. We moved in together and continued building a life full of laughter and love. On July 17, 2025, Dalton proposed, and of course, Preslie said yes! Now we’re excited to take the next step surrounded by the people who mean the most to us.
