Obviously this isn’t a question, but I (Nicki) wanted to address this right off the bat. It’s COMPLETELY fine that many of my Ohio family and friends won’t be able to make it. Trust me, I understand and I know Arkansas may not exactly scream “destination wedding”. But everyone I invited I wanted to know I care about you and at least wanted you to know you’re included - whether you can be there physically or not. I know the same goes for anyone Dalton invited, as well :)
We are currently working on booking some blocks of hotel rooms for the wedding. However, if you would like to get a jump start, there are several great places to stay around Fort Smith - where we live and will be operating out of for the wedding. However, there are also several options closer to our Rudy, AR, wedding venue in Alma, AR, and Van Buren, AR.
Sharing in our special day would be the most treasured gift to us! However, if you would really like to give us a gift, we have three open registries - one through this site (Zola), as well as Target and Amazon. All three are linked through the registry page, though Zola prioritizes their own - Target and Amazon are all the way at the bottom of the page.
YES! By all means, if you can find a good deal somewhere, snatch it!
Yes, there is a space for this on the electronic RSVP, which is open now.
If you are married or in a long-term relationship, then your partner (or +1) was included on your invitation, as well as the electronic RSVP. We respectfully request that our wedding attendees do not bring any extra guests beyond those listed without first asking.
Whatever you feel comfortable wearing to a standard wedding is fine! Note that the ceremony will be outside, in a pecan grove, and the reception will be in the venue's barn with dancing inside/outside. We respectfully ask that our guests not wear full-on Halloween costumes - though having fun with color/accessories is certainly welcome!
Yes, and there are a few who have been included in the wedding party and on the guest list, already. However, this will be an event with alcohol, a primarily adult guest list, and typical reception festivities. Though we will be doing our best to ensure we are inclusive of our younger attendees, as well - there will be a self-serve Halloween Candy Bar, for example - it is at the discretion of the parents whether they bring their child(ren) or not.
