How do we get there and home?

Answer

We will provide transportation to and from the wedding to Rancho Bernardo Inn. The shuttle to the Safari Park from Rancho Bernardo Inn will leave at 1:20 PM. The post wedding shuttle will leave the Safari Park at ~8pm and ~9pm. Keep in mind, ride share will not pick you up from the Safari Park, so we suggest taking the shuttle at one of the above times.

How do we get from the Safari Park entrance to the venue?

Answer

There will be a shuttle provided for all guests once you enter the Safari Park to take you back to Kijami Overlook.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It will be lovely during the day but likely to be quite cold (50s) once the sun goes down, so please take that into consideration when packing your bags and picking your outfit for the wedding.

Can we visit the park before the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony starts at 3:00pm at Kijamii Overlook, but your Safari Park Adventure can begin much earlier- Your wedding invite is also an all-day pass to the Safari Park. The Park opens at 9:00am and if you are interested in visiting the park prior to the wedding, tickets will be available at the Main Ticket Booth from 9:00am until 1:00pm. You will have full access to the park including a ticket for the Africa Tram.

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is available at the Safari Park and will be complimentary for guests. However, we recommend taking the shuttle back to Rancho Bernardo to be safe. If you plan on driving and leaving your car overnight - please make a note of where you parked and let the staff know when you check in. The park recommends picking up your car by 8:00am the next morning to avoid paying any parking fees.

We love your children! However, to give all our guests a night of relaxation, we've decided to make this an adult-only occasion.

Where do we stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Rancho Bernardo at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. RBI is ~20 minutes from the Safari Park and ~30mins from Viewpoint (welcome party).
