WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!

We had been talking since we met on February, Friday the 17th of 2012. I friend requested him on Facebook and had been non stop talking ever since. He asked me out on a date for that weekend. We went on a double date with my sister as a way to ensure nothing would happen on this date. :) We went to the movies and saw the movie The Vow, yes a very sad movie to go see on your first date. Halfway through the movie he asked me to be his girlfriend. Of course I said YES! He replied with well good because then this would have been awkward. We both laughed and that was the start of forever.

We took our first vacation together just the two of us! We went up to the mountains to Cove Haven Retreat. On our way up about two hours in we get a phone call from the retreat that states due to the huge amount of snow they received the power shut off and they have no running water. We ended up rescheduling our retreat and decided to stay up there for a little and explore the beautiful surroundings. Dalton had been up that way as a kid and knew about Tobyhanna State Park and decided we should go there. I thought it was a great idea so we went. Once we were at the park I went ahead of Dalton to take a picture of the frozen lake. Once I got my picture Dalton had come down and told me to come over to him. I walked over and he took my hands into his and started expressing his love! I thought nothing of this since we are always telling each other how much we love each other. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I was in complete shock and asked if he was serious!?! Once he said yes it really sunk in and I started to cry, which made him cry and we ended with a big huge hug! Since it was the beginning of March and there was just a huge snow storm we only got a few pictures before we ran back up to the truck. I was extremely impressed that I had no idea this was coming and it was truly the best surprise of my life!
