Dalton and Jaya's beautiful love story began at the Harvest youth group in Alexandria, MN. Even though they were familiar with each other through mutual connections, it wasn't until Dalton's co-worker started dating Jaya's brother that their paths crossed. After knowing each other for 2 years, Dalton added Jaya on Snapchat. They began talking constantly, from texting to calling, to facetiming every night, which brought them closer together very quickly. However, due to Jaya's parents being cautious about her dating before the age of 18, they initially took things slowly. That didn't last too long, because 2 months later, Dalton and Jaya shared their first kiss on December 28th, 2022. Exactly one year after their journey began, Dalton proposed to Jaya on their anniversary. Now, they are preparing for marriage by reading pre-marriage books and reading their Bible together often. They still call each other every night, regardless of whether they saw each other that day or not, and pray together every night. They continue to grow closer to God and each other and practice purity to have a fulfilling marriage under God’s covenant
