What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is cocktail wear. Keep in mind this is a fully outdoor venue. You will be walking through some grass and dancing on old stone. Ladies, match your shoes accordingly — block heel for the win! Please no jeans. :) Bridesmaids will be in emerald and groomsmen will be in navy (just in case you are like me and worry about clashing!)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a large field with plenty of parking. If you party a little too hard you are allowed to leave your car there and pick it up the next morning.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adult only affair.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Based on our venue size, we had to keep the head count low. Your formal invitation will indicate if you are allowed a plus one. When you RSVP online, you will also be able to enter the name of your guest.

By when should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 15, 2022. This will give us time to coordinate with our vendors about the final headcount.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

If you booked a room within our hotel block at The Smith House, a shuttle service will be provided to and from the venue. The shuttle will leave the hotel at 4:30 PM sharp. It will arrive at 4:15 to begin loading. It will come back at the end of the night to take everyone back. Please be responsible and have a designated driver lined up if you plan to be drinking. Mountain roads are dark and always winding— we want everyone to have fun while staying safe! The venue is in rural NE Ga, so cell service is splotchy. However, the venue does have Wifi.

Is your ceremony unplugged?

Answer

YES! We have an amazing photographer — let’s leave it up to her to capture the intimate moments of our ceremony. Once the ceremony is over, though, you are free to take all the pictures you please!
