Toccoa River Swinging Bridge
This spot is great for hiking and it is such a beautiful area for relaxing or packing a picnic and playing by the river for the day.
Mercier Orchards
This is the best place for homemade pies, pastries, ice creams, and locally grown produce. Mercier's is a family owned 300-Acre apple orchard with a wide variety of pick-your-own seasonal fruits. This makes for the best day trip by yourself or with family and friends.
Toccoa Wilderness Tubing
We have been tubing down this river multiple times and it is a blast.
Blue Ridge Scenic Railway
This is a great family adventure that starts in the historic depot built in 1905 in downtown Blue Ridge, Georgia. The total excursion is 26 miles which is 4 hour round trip winding along the beautiful Toccoa River.
Morganton Point Recreation Area
This area is a bit of a ways away but totally worth the hike. It is a family friendly spot to get in the lake and rent paddle boards or kayaks for the day.
Downtown Blue Ridge
This is our absolute favorite place to go in Blue Ridge. The entire downtown of Blue Ridge is a great mix of old and new with amazing shopping and dining spots in this quaint little town. Some of our favorite restaurants down town are Chester Brunnemeyer's Bar and Grill, Blue Jeans Pizza & Pasta Factory, and Mike's Trackside BBQ.
Sue's Burgers
Our Favorite Burger joint!! This restaurant is a very small family owned business that we love to support. It is consistently great.
Noontootla Creek Farms
Best place for a clay shooting adventure. Some of the nicest people around.
Bear Claw Vineyards & Winery, Inc.
Fun place with great outdoor seating and multiple fire pits.
The Lilly Pad Village
Family friendly put put golf.
Amicalola Falls
35-45 minute drive but DEFINITELY worth it. Hiking trails and amazing pictures spots. Make sure to take the drive to the top to checkout the best lookout spots.
Grumpy Old Men Brewing
Fun vibe. Near downtown so if you’re not a shopper and the rest of the group is this is a nice hangout spot.
