Let’s try this again!!

For the past 6 years, Dalton & I have made a point to go to the zoo each year. This year, we went to Houston for a last minute get away and decided to go to the zoo while we were there. The day started off kind of rough, the weather wasn't great and I woke up on the wrong side of the bed I guess, but it quickly got better. We spent the whole morning walking around seeing everything (I saw everything, Dalton saw the Masters on his phone majority of it). We fed the giraffes then went and watched the sea lions (they're our favorite to see). After the zoo, we went and sat at the park listening to the music festival and just talking about life and how we couldn't wait to start our life together there. Dalton decided to prop the phone up (we didn't have anyone around us to take a picture) and in the middle, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I couldn't believe it was happening and all I could get out was a small yes, a head nod and lots of tears. We're finally engaged! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with everyone!
