Our Engagement
In October of 2016, we took a trip to New Mexico to cross an item off Ashlyn's bucket list, seeing the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. We packed the car with snacks, good tunes, and of course our dog, Turbo, and made the 6 hour drive south. Hundreds of balloons lifted off each morning and at night they crowded the field to perform balloon glows, where they would light their fires at synchronized intervals almost mimicking fireflies. It was a magical sight to see and was the first trip we took together as a couple. We explored the city of Albuquerque, making sure to visit all the iconic Breaking Bad spots as that is one of Dalton's favorite TV shows. That trip holds a special place in our hearts, so making the decision to take our engagement photos in a hot air balloon was a no brainer. Fun fact, the balloon we took our photos in was actually at the Fiesta! We toasted champagne in the sky to our adventure ahead - one we can't wait to celebrate with you all. Cheers!
