Loose Park and the Loose Park Rose Garden

Loose Park and the Loose Park Rose Garden

5100 Wornall Rd, Kansas City, MO 64112

We met playing spike ball at Loose Park and it is now our backyard! We love going on runs around the park, playing sports in the open spaces, and ice skating on the pond in the winter. It contains a beautiful rose garden and informative civil war walking tour. A keen eye will notice Japanese flora, inspired by our sister city, Kurashiki, Japan.

The Country Club Plaza

The Country Club Plaza

4706 Broadway Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64112

The country club plaza opened in 1923 as the first shopping mall in the United States. It was designed with Spanish architecture to mimic Seville, Spain, but boasts more fountains. It's an outdoor shopping area that is pedestrian friendly.
